Will heads the sourcing and underwriting platforms and serves on the credit committees for a wide range of loan products and industry verticals including Asset Based Lending, Life Sciences & Technology Venture Lending, Franchise Finance and Entertainment Finance. Before co-founding MidCap Financial, Will created and ran the life sciences venture finance platform at Merrill Lynch Capital and managed the underwriting teams for healthcare asset-based lending at Merrill Lynch Capital and GE Capital. He began his career practicing law in the corporate and securities group of Hogan & Hartson. Will holds a BA in philosophy from Haverford College and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
